Even if there are 100 members of a group and you meet 99 members of said group, still you cannot make assumptions about all 100 members of that group.

Human beings are individuals. Complex individuals. It is small-minded to make assumptions—even if they are “positive” assumptions—about a member of a group of people, about a human being, because you first experience them as a stereotype.

Then, when you observe their uniqueness, their individuality, then and only then are your preconceived notions dismantled. Essentially, you rob that person of you experiencing them in and of themselves without any frames of reference or prior negative models.
