Majority of women only want gay men as lap dogs,
show dogs to perform tricks.
It was said that, “When gay men have women as their best friends, those women have other women as their best friends.”
It appears that women don’t actually want gay men as friends in the true sense but as archetypical playthings:
The Makeup Maven Friend,
The Hairdresser Friend,
The Fashionista Friend,
The Mean Girl Friend,
The Town Gossip Friend,
The Comic Relief Friend,
The D.L. Bloodhound Friend,
Or, The Let’s-Get-Drunk-And-Go-Dancing Friend.
I cannot be anyone’s entertainment. I cannot be a form of someone’s amusement. The friendships I forge must be substantive. If we can’t cry together and get to know each other intimately, we won’t laugh and dance together.
